Joy

Joy… I once talked with a man at the park and he told me that he did not believe that joy was meant for here… now, that it was something we could only look forward to in the future… like after this life. He could not believe that I was a true believer in joy… here… now.

For me, and maybe for you, pure joy is hard to find. I can’t seem to live in years, months, weeks or even days in a constant state of joy… but there are minutes! Yes, every once in a while I will sigh and say to myself, “this is what joy feels like”.

You may have had a rough life like me. Joy may be really hard to see now… but it is there… underneath all the pain, chaos, and confusion. If you find time for yourself… sit and do nothing… rest your mind… you will feel joy. Make room in your life for your Spirit. Try it… you’ll like it!
