Spiritual Retreat - Part 2

Hello out there! I am back from my spiritual retreat and wanted to share with you my journey... both in the physical and in my mind (where everything is formed for me).

I turned a 12 drive to Michigan from Delaware into 15.5 hours! I missed a crucial turn on the highway and it led me 100 miles out of my way! And sucked up two extra hours of my time. I don't usually do such things (well, not on such a grand scale anyway). It was so funny.... my husband called me on the cell phone and asked where I was.... I told him and he said, "you are going the wrong way" and I said, "no, I am not" this went on about three revolutions and I pulled over to look at the map.... I WAS GOING THE WRONG WAY!!!!

How many times do you suppose that we believe we are going the right way when in fact we are not. And we would even aruge that we know where we are going too! :-)

I did not panic... I continued on the way I was going and found a route that went north to get me back on my correct path. I had to correct myself.... I had to correct myself.... hmmmm.

Then the last 5 hours on the road were in the dark and in heavy snow! I had trouble seeing... I had trouble seeing.... I had to use more time (more time).

I was tired and hungry... tired and hungry.

DH (Darling Husband) called me again and asked if I had put my jeep in four wheel drive. I had not even thought of it (not even thought of it) so I did and was able to proceed much faster on the correct path.

I was going to my spiritual retreat and struggling to get there! In the dark to boot!
