Every Ending is also a Beginning!

                                                                                        Let me inspire you to see every ending as also a beginning! When something ends often we are upset, dissappointed, or tramatized. And sometimes understandably so. But let me help you to see that it might also, at the same time, be a new beginning. Life is full of changes and our culture, unlike the east, suggests that this is not good. But change will be happening everyday of our lives. It is something we have no control over and must learn to accept. When a change comes that upsets you step back for one moment... take time to breathe... then tell yourself that everything is ok right here, right now! If there are things you need to do - do them. If there is time you need to heal - take it. Make believe for a few moments that you are someone you really love and care about... be good to you. Be there for you. And then urge yourself to accept and move on. Acceptance is the key to peace... Take however long you need to accept something. It might takes days, weeks or years, but you will get there. And when you do... see that it is a new beginning, not so much an ending anymore! Life is a journey that we cannot escape. We may as well go peacefully along the road!

After a while you learn
the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul
and you learn
that love doesn't mean leaning
and company doesn't always mean security.
And you begin to learn
that kisses aren't contracts
and presents aren't promises
and you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes ahead
with the grace of woman, not the grief of a child
and you learn
to build all your roads on today
because tomorrow's ground is
too uncertain for plans
and futures have a way of falling down
in mid-flight.
After a while you learn
that even sunshine burns
if you get too much
so you plant your own garden
and decorate your own soul
instead of waiting for someone
to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure
you really are strong
you really do have worth
and you learn
and you learn
with every goodbye, you learn...
