Remember: you are the only person who thinks in your mind! YOU ARE THE POWER AND AUTHORITY IN YOUR WORLD. --- Louise Hay
The bible says that as a man thinks, so he is... How true do you think this is for you? Are you everything that you want to be right now? I know I am not and I ask for help with that every single night. Sometimes we accept what the world thinks of us without questioning what that is. Sometimes we aren't sure who we are and so we take on the roles that we fit into in life. But is this where we really want to be? Ask yourself this: am I where I want to be? Am I who I want to be? I don't mean are you making enough money, have the right relationship, or the right job... I am looking a little bit deeper today into what we are. What are you? Think for a moment about yourself and jot down 3 words that come to mind right away! Here are mine: Kind, insecure, funny. I am not upset about the insecure part... things have happened in my life to get me there. It is what I do when I realize that this is a part of who I am that matters most!!!! I am kind, but I could be kinder. I work hard everyday on the insecurity that I carry around (I have to conrtol what I think), and everyone loves that I am funny. These are parts of me that I see... I wonder what is out there that I do not see. Ask someone you trust to think of three words that describe you today... you will see yourself from the outside...
Finally, what are you thinking about yourself everyday? If you learn to listen to your thoughts you will hear what your mind is saying. Pay attention to what you hear. Is it true? Or not? Because I can tell you that we hear hundreds of things that just are not true and we need to weed these out. One of mine is this: I am not a successful woman because I cannot and do not like to cook. Is this true about me? Am I unsuccessful as a woman because I don't like to cook? No, I am not! And when I hear this I need to weed it out of my mind.
Be very careful about what you think about yourself... much of it is simply not true! Revel in what is true and share that with everyone you meet!
