Let me inspire you to live your dash well! What dash? You know, the one between your birth and death!

This is the life you have right now... it's your creation, your story, and your's to change as you see fit. I was riding down the road last week and I heard this: Your happiness is  your responsibility!

It sure shocked me because I had never thought of happiness like that. Like most of us, I assumed that happiness was one of those things that either happened or didn't. I figured your situation in life determinded the amount of happiness one had and that was it.

This new thought left me feeling quite giddy! Imagine that! I actually have some control over whether or not I am happy here in this lifetime! It is no one else's responsibility but mine. It left me thinking that if I find myself unhappy then boy... I had better do something to change that! We can change the people in our lives, the jobs we go to everyday, the amount of busy-ness we allow, and the thoughts that take up space in our heads! Only we can change these things for ourselves! Sitting around waiting for things to get better will leave you wasting your dash! What can you do today to make sure you live your dash well? There must be something... even something quite small... get to work!
