TGIF

I am inspired today because it is Friday! I am not working outside of the home now, I am doing this blog full time and everyday is like a Friday to me! I get to be home with my pets, I am home when my children come home from school, I have lots of windows right where my computer is so I can enjoy the day, I can even go out and take a walk if I want to! I am so very blessed.

Then why is Friday special to me? It is the day before I get to spend two whole days with my family! I get to wake up and see them instead of ushering them all off out the door! I get to have breakfast with them.... which I don't usually have during the week until 12:00. And there's eggs and pancakes, not the quick, light English muffins, I eat every weekday! I get to plan something fun with them; a trip to the store, a walk in the walking park, a run to the movie store, or just hang out at home knowing that they are here with me and I love them!

I get to have dinner with the family and not have to rush the kids off to get showers for school! I get to sit and relax with my husband and read or watch a movie and know that he is off the next day too. My husband and I often do special projects around the house on the weekends... last weekend we shampooed our carpets. It was fun to work on something together! We are silly and stop often for a hug and kiss break. :-)

I guess the real reason I like Friday is that although I have the whole day to myself alone... I know that my family will be here with me for the next two days! That makes me happy. That makes me believe that I am blessed!

What about you? Enjoy the weekend with your family! Smile and know that family surrounds us and comforts us... really appreciate them... for one day they may not be there. Do something fun with your family tomorrow and let them know how much you love them. Take the time to fully enjoy the people in your life!
