True Security

Today I inspire you to have true security! True security is not having anything that you can't do without! When you reach this point in your life -- life will stop dragging you down and beating you up! My sister is in prison and the guards take advantage of the situation to be unkind. I took some of her stuff to her and they have to go through all the stuff with the guards to see if there is anything that they are not allowed to have. This one guard was giving my sister a hard time. He kept saying over and over again, "I might not let you have this.... I might not let you have that...".

When the time came that I could sit down with my sister for an hour I explained to her how, right now in her life, she needs to have nothing that she can't do without. Then the unkindness will wash right over and off of her. She smiled and said I was right... that there is freedom in being able to do without anything! So, now she stands there and is not worried about what she can keep and what she can't! Freedom... in prison!
