Love Well

I love the wording here... "love well". How many of us take the time to love well? It does take time you know... sometimes lots of time. I try to make time to talk to the people in my life. Not just "talk" to them... but "speak" to them. You know when you have hurt someone, you know when someone is upset, you know when your teenager is not acting right or your co-worker is extra mean.... that means they need someone to talk to. That means that something is not right with them. That means there is something you can do to help them. Anything you can do will help... even if it is just a warm, loving smile! We need to take the time to love well... not love on the fly! Slow down enough to really speak to the people in your life. Take the time it takes to cultivate a deep relationship with everyone you meet. Why shouldn't we? We are all really so much the same inside!

We are in the process of moving. Wow, it is a lot of work! Plus I have three teenagers at home and their complaints really don't make things any easier. :-) But we are getting through it. My hubby took today and tomorrow off and we are in the thick of it! I am so glad that the weather is not as hot as it has been. We live in Delaware and summer sometimes refuses to leave quietly!

My heart is broken for the people in Texas that have been devastated by the hurrincane! Many people have lost everything and I just can't quite imagine what that would feel like. But as the quote on my page for today says, I am breathing in their loss and pain and sending out thoughts of strength and wisdom to them. When I see people hurting I remember that it could very easily be me in their shoes. So, I walk in their shoes even if for a brief moment... because when it really boils down to it... I am them and they are me!

Namaste!

ps..... my computer will probably be taken apart and moved today... no post for tomorrow... but I will be thinking of you and sending you thoughts of strength and wisdom! :-) I will catch up with you next week! Stay well!
