Over Time

I just had my first wedding anniversary with my husband... it seems kind of silly... we are both over 40, but it is just as important as if it were our first, first wedding anniversary!

I bought my husband a card and I want to share it with you. It says:

Over time we've discovered that love means a whole lot more than we thought when we first got married. We've weathered changes, acquired more patience, and even learn to laugh when life doesn't turn out exactly as we've planned...

We've laughed and cried together... we've stuck by each other, no matter what. Sharing everything that's come our way has given us something that some people never know... a lasting commitment to each other.

And that's really what love is all about... cherishing all our shared yesterdays, enjoying today together, and looking forward to a beautiful tomorrow.

Happy Anniversary

And for our anniversary DH (dear husband) bought us a weekend away in the mountains at a Bed & Breakfast! The day after we got there it snowed and snowed and snowed... I was in heaven!
