Guardian Angels

 

Wikapedia says it like this:

"A guardian angel is an angel assigned to protect and guides a particular person."

To protect and guide... hmmm... that sounds like a job only we can do for ourselves to me! I always wondered about guardian angels as a child and it disturbed me very much when I heard that another child was hurt or died. I thought: where the heck was their angel.

Now that I am an adult, I have shed such hopeful beliefs and come to realize that we each are our own guardian angels! Who is in a better position to "protect" and "guide" us but us? 

We have learned that we are the only maker of our happiness... now it is time for us to understand that we are the author of our own protection and guidance. We know in our hearts what is good for us and what is not... we know in our own souls how to protect ourselves. (if only we find the courage!)

Step up to the plate on this one beloved! Take responsibility for your own protection and guidance! You are enough!
