"You must be able to do three things:

Love what is mortal

Hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it

and, when the time comes to let it go, let it go."

Wow, what more could be said to achieving peace here? We have to learn to love where we are, who we are and those around us now... knowing that all our peace depends on this one thing. And then when the times comes for letting go... we are able to let go.

We don't do the letting go part very well. For some reason we expect things to always tick along just as they are.

But life here is a constant stream of motion... nothing is permanent... nothing is forever.

If we can learn this simple concept we will spare ourselves much pain!
