Are You Worried?

So.... are you worried?

I know for myself that I think I worry more then I am joyful...

... all those moments of worrying... wasted!

"What if" thoughts are the mind trying to get you to solve the problem of your fear.

It is fear that is the problem. The mind seeks to find ways to deal with the level of fear you live in from day to day.

I believe that it is the minds attempt to relieve this fear in our lives... these "what if" thoughts.

But do they really help at all?

Tolle seems to think that this is not a valid way of dealing with something that hasn't even happened yet.

Is an "imaginary future" something we need to figure out ahead of time?

Can we figure it out ahead of time?

If Now is all that we have... if Now is all that is real... then as Tolle says our imaginary future is nothing more then...

... a mental phantom.
