Inward!

Denying life in the Now.... where will it get you?

No where fast!

Ever wonder why you can't seem to be happy?

Ever wonder why there is no peace?

I can tell you from experience that it is because you are not excepting your life the way it is NOW!

Let's face it... you can't control everything in your life (and would you want to?).

There are things in your life that make you FEEL unhappy...

... what are they? Make a list.

Every once in a while my husband will do or say something stupid.

It will hurt my feelings and let me tell you, my feelings walk around night and day looking for something to get hurt about.

It used to cause a big fight when he did these things... I would become sooooo unhappy.

Well, last night it happened.

I have to realize that my husband is not me! He is not going to act like me, think like me, or react like me. He is him!

This is the part where it gets tough for me.... it is hard for me to except parts of some people.

But if I don't try... I will be unhappy all the time.

So... last night... I let him be him and overlooked the hurtful act.

today... peace!

Start to accept the now... practice it... change what you can... except the rest!

Namaste

ps.... this is not a formula for every kind of hurt you have... here I am mainly talking about small things that upset you!
