Affirmation #8: I Quiet My Own Storm

We went to see Clash of the Titans last night...

At one point a wise woman puts her hand on Perseus's chest and says, "quite your storm".

I was moved by that!

We each have our own storms going on so to speak and it is up to us and only us to be able to quiet them!

I know at times I seek for someone else to quiet my storm... but in the end only I can!

Do you have storms going on in your life right now? Do you know someone who is in the midst of a storm?

Know that the tool with which to quiet your storm lies in your own mind!

Yes, I believe the mind is what perceives the spirit inside of us... listen to it!

Listen to the voice of your own self... it speaks often... wanting to help you... to guide you...

... but you think you know what is better... you ignore the very voice that can LEAD YOU HOME!

You must be still... you must be unafraid... you must thirst and in thirsting ... seek!

What do you hear? Listen... what do you hear?

You might be very surprised at what you hear... it may even shock you...

... But you have to be in the right place in your head... you have to be listening from your heart... else you be tricked.

I want to hear... I want to quiet my own storm... and when the time is right the storm will recede and a new day will dawn.

Until the... practice peace
