Live With Intention!

If you don't do it you will be living haphazardly!

This is your life... your day... your moment in time.

It is going to be what you make it!

If you don't conciously make it then it will be lived unconsciously.

Sad...

I have a book reveiw for you today!

Live with Intention, Rediscovering What We Deeoply Know,  By Mary Anne Radmacher

Mary Anne is the famous lady who wrote a famous quote you may have seen on someone's fridge or at the book store:

"live with intention.

walk to the edge.

listen hard. practice

wellness. play with

abandon. laugh. choose with no regret.

continue to learn.

apprecaite you

friends. do what you

love. live as if this is

all there is."

In her book, Live with Intention, Mary Anne outlines this entire quote.

She also creaes art and teaches people to write.

Here are some excerpts from a recent interview with Mary Anne:

Even your art work is word-based.  Have you always loved words?

Yes.  I have always played with words.  I “wrote” quite a statement in permanent marker on our breakfast nook wall when I was two.  I laughingly say that was my first exposure to a critic!  I began my love of movement and dance about the same time as I fell in love with words.  My lettering style is my way of allowing the words to do a visual dance.  In fact, I often say that words are the way the soul dances.

Your brochure and PR identifies you as a trainer.  Is that just another way to say you are a teacher?

Writing, creating beauty and teaching others are the things that, throughout my life, I have been compelled to do.  No matter what.  I am happiest and most fulfilled when I am acting in one of those three capacities.

In your latest book you outline and address the key intentions of your life. Are there times when you don’t maintain your own principles?

Some days the best thing that I can say is that I simply showed up.  We all have those days.  I have a life long aspiration to being better at the end of every day.  And by better I mean, that I’ve learned, served and acted in full accord with my blessings and my gifts.

What do hope to accomplish through this latest book?

I want to tap gentle souls on the shoulder and hold a mirror up to their knowledge and goodness and say, “Remember?  You knew this once.  Remember?”  Live With Intention represents ten core elements that enliven and enlarge my days.  I invite others to either borrow mine or connect with their own.  “Same ‘ole, same ‘ole,” never again has to be someone’s answer to, “How are you doing?”  And I wouldn’t mind at all if this one visited the New York Times bestseller list for awhile.

One of your more popular quotes is “what if we just acted like everything was easy?”  You talk about that in your book. Does that over simplify complexities?

It took me a few years to recognize that I used that question to talk myself through difficulties of all sorts; particularly computer challenges.  I’d ask myself to act like I do when I know something really is easy.  Just introducing that mind set slows me down, soothes my rapid fire thinking and helps me focus.

Things usually ARE a lot simpler and easier than I am at first inclined to think.  While writing this book I changed software.  While writing this book I “lost” one half of the content when I was almost done.  Whew.  I pretended it was easy all the way to when it actually was!

What work do you put into the world and what do you teach?

I am celebrating my most recent release through Red Wheel-Weiser-Conari Press, LIVE WITH INTENTION.  That and numbers of other titles are available at fine stores throughout the country and numbers of on-line sources, including maryanneraadmacher.com    There one will also find the signature series of work I’ve been creating for the world for (gasp) a quarter of a century.  I design a line of beautiful products through DEMDACE called Bold Inspirations, some of my favorite sayings are in the QUOTABLE Cards line and several inspiring calendars are available through Brushdance.com

I teach a process called Focus Phrase on line.  I offer key note addresses and provide inspiring corporate training.  Much of this is detailed on my author site, maryanneradmacher.net.  People can contact me through that site, as well.

For those of you who made it to the end of this post and would like a chance to win a free copy of Live With Intention please contact me through the contact link and I will draw 2 winners!!!!!!

Live intentionally... remember what you deeply know!
