Love's a State of Mind

OH my gosh... I had fun with this piece!

Look how very complicated it is!

It says, "your dreams unwind, love's a state of mind", written by Stevie Nicks.

How true is this? What love means to one person does not mean the same thing to someone else!

There are so many hidden meanings to the word... that is why this artwork has so much detail.

The longer I live the more I believe that love first comes from ourselves before it can ever come from someone else.

Thus perhaps this self love is far more important then this love from someone else!

You need the first one to get to the second one.

Maybe this is why so many people move in and out of relationship after relationship!

They are looking for love from that other person when if fact it must begin to grow in one's self first!

It is not selfish to love yourself. It is not selfish to take good care of you! It is not selfish to make sure you have what you are looking for!
