Joyuslion's Guest Book

This is our guest book. I say "ours" because it is yours too! We would all love to hear from you about you... where are you from... what inspires you? Leave little footprints of yourself behind so that others may learn of you!

This is my testimony for you, STEPH!!!

What a blessing to finally take the time to read your amazing testimony! I just took an amazing tour of this incredible, inspiring blog and Steph, I just want to say that you are going to help change so many people's lives with the inspiring things you have written! You have created a santuary for us to come and dwell and to read of your life confirming meditiations. You have so graciously shared your life story with us to strengthen us and guide us along our journey and to motivate us to seek the truth and reality of who we are and what God needs us to overcome so He can lead us to the life He meant for us to live!

Reading about your life experiences touched my heart and I have been strengthened by your personal story of the trials you faced and the blessing that helped to heal your pain and heartache and strengthened you as you began, through God's love, to find the beautiful peace you now have in your in life ! I know He has chosen you for something far more fabulous than you could ever imagine! You are His child and He is working in you already as you have committed yourself to serving others and helping those in need and they will find your blog and see the goodness of God through your words and your steady faith! Your strength and courage is a bright, shining testimony that speaks volumes of the love you have to give to others and to help all who need to find a better way...a new beginning...a new day!

This wonderful workshop could not have come at a better time in my life! I, too, have been at the end of my rope lately and reallize that the time has come to make the changes I need to make to restore myself nad become whole again! I know the desperation that you faced all to well but in some ways it is the deciding force that demands an answer in it's whirling frenzy of darkness... "sink or swim"...what is the choice...there is no longer any where else to turn..either sink or swim"!! I too answered with "I will swim'!!! And so as to begin that long road back before this all began but with new hope... I am determined to find the "real me" again! I want to see that person I once was but can no longer recognize when I look in the mirror! I have the desire now to build up my strength and courage to take this journey to restore myself BUT only if I take command over my will and stubbornly stay the course and do the work to destroy the bad habits that have eaten away at my joy and stolen the peace from my soul! I must choose to go forward and shake off the heavy chains I have worn for these past few years and rid myself of the doubts and negative attitudes that I HAVE allowed to dwell in my heart and mind! I can set myself free from the chains of depression, bad health, and heartache to go forth to refill those empty places with the purity of God's Grace and His will for my life!

Thank you so much Steph, for this powerful event we are sharing! It means the world to me to read how you survived your depression and the amazing courage you had as you fought to become a whole person again, for yourself and your children! Sometimes I feel so alone when the days are dark and here you have come forth with your words that shine brighter than the sun that say to me that ,I too, can survive...this too shall is near!

Bless you,
Kym Decker

Your story has moved me and I relate to a good part of it also..which in itself is an awakening to me wonder we create art with all our's a way to get it out...and you have a wonderful outlet here for people to come and understand and see that things can be better and maybe even alright . Thank you Steph for sending me the link that is helping change my life..

I'm enjoying this, so far! LOL Day 2 is here:

This one is hard! The older I get, the more I don't welcome change.

Hi, Stephanie, and Others,

I created an art journal page for Day 1. It's on Flickr. Feel free, please. I didn't know if you wanted us to share them on here, or where.
Here is that link:
That felt good, Stephanie!
Thank you!

I absolutely love your latest creation. Definitely one of my favourites. I don't agree about the light though. I guess I'm more yin/yan I think most of us are struggling with the darkness that is in us all. Even my little aerogarden which I'm really excited about has 12 hours light and 12 hours darkness for optimum growth. Remove all the shadows from your picture and you will have a rather washed out looking image, lacking the depth that yours displays.
Here is my favourite poem of all time. I'd like to share it with you. No surprise that it is about darkness:-)

Lots of love xxxx

If I brought the beast in me before your eyes
And bid you touch the pulse beneath its skin
Would you feel the inkling dark surprise
Of bonding, smile the smile that welcomes kin?
Remember: Beast belongs in goodly company
Of archetype and daimon, shares the table
Equally with gods. Caliban is not to be
If predators are locked in stables.
Wholly human is half beast. In pain,
Beneath your edifice of highrise floors
Where paler angels chant correct refrains,
A black rhino batters the black diamond doors.
Those who cannot find the Beast and free
It, love not me; nor, my darling, all of thee.

i think your website may enlist the ideas and concerns that matter most to me . I want to get in spiritual shape.
my acronym for this S-H-A-P-E. THE S STANDS FOR SPIRITUAL GIFTS. THE H stands for HEART. The A stands for ABILITIES, The P stands for PERSONALITY(light) The E STANDS FOR EXPERIENCES.

EACH DAY THANK GOD for your SPIRITUAL GIFTS(you have many)

Hi Stephanie!

I just got a chance to really go and look at your site. I've not
had an oppty to read everything, but I like what you're doing.

When we give to others we are really filling our own cups.
When we listen to the pain of others, we hear our own pain.
When we give love, it automatically returns so effortlessly.
Healing goes out and returns to the source from which it was
sent and so this applies to giving, to love and all other Universal

Continue to be healed as you help others heal. Continue to grow
in love as you open to others in their process. You have learned the
secret. The best way to receive is to ......give!

Your Recently Newly Acquired friend...........Big Smile~~~~~~~~~~~
